1. Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner is retained with the records.

2. The petitioner alleges that electricity connection is not being given to him despite depositing the amount mentioned in the quotation raised by WBSEDCL.

3. Learned advocate representing the Distribution Company Limited submits, upon instruction that, as the field where the connection for shallow tube well will be given is under cultivation right now, connection cannot be effected.

4. It has been submitted that connection will be given immediately after the cultivation period is over.

5. The instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Station Manager to take steps to effect electric supply connection to the petitioner, subject to compliance of all necessary formalities soon after the cultivation gets over.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.

7. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
