1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the act of the Distribution Company Limited in not effecting electricity connection despite payment being made as per the quotation raised.

3. Learned advocate representing the Distribution Company Limited relies upon the instruction forwarded by the Divisional Engineer and Station Manager of Sagardighi CCC dated 20th September, 2024 mentioning that connection could not be given because cultivation season is ongoing. It has been mentioned that as soon as the field is in a proper working condition, connection will be effected.

4. On hearing the parties and on perusal of the instruction forwarded, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the licensee to take steps for effecting supply to the petitioner as soon as the cultivation period is over and the field is in proper working condition, subject to compliance of all necessary formalities.

5. Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
