The petitioner seeks to hold Durga Puja in a particular plot of land.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner places a letter dated 24th September, 2022 written to the Inspector-in-Charge, Technocity Police Station, Barasat seeking such permission.

Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that the petitioner should have approached the SubDivisional Officer, Barast for the required permission. W.P.A. 22456 of 2022 is accordingly disposed of by directing the petitioner to make an application before the Sub-Divisional Officer, Barasat by tomorrow i.e. 28th September, 2022. The concerned authority shall dispose of the application by 29th September, 2022 and intimate the same to the petitioner on the same day. (Moushumi Bhattacharya, J.)
