Mina ...for the State Mr. Debtanay Banerjee, Ms. Sayani Roy Chowdhury ...for the Bank The petitioner claims to have applied for loan before the Axis Bank Limited for purchasing a vehicle. The petitioner further states that though the petitioner did not purchase the said vehicle and no documents were forwarded to the Axis Bank, the Axis Bank paid a sum of Rs.20 lakhs to the car dealer, namely S.N. Motors Private Limited.

The petitioner claims to have approached various authorities by a letter, which is annexed at page 31 of the writ petition.

Mr. Banerjee, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the Credit Information Bureau (India) Limited (CIBIL) score of the petitioner

has been seriously affected due to the aforesaid account of the Bank.

It is for the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law in that regard. Mr. Banerjee, learned Advocate for the petitioner, in his usual fairness, submits that in the meantime the loan account of the petitioner has been closed. However, this Court finds that the petitioner could not make out any case of police inaction.

With the above observations and directions, this writ petitions stands disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of necessary formalities.
