Affidavit of service filed on behalf of the petitioner is kept with the records.

The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the failure of the statutory authorities in providing a domestic connection to the premises of the petitioner. The respondent distribution company is represented and submits that the petitioner has paid the outstanding dues for a new domestic connection. He further submits that a new domestic connection would be shortly provided to the petitioner.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the respondent distribution company WPA 20339 of 2019 is disposed of by directing the respondent distribution company to provide a new domestic connection to the premises of the petitioner in accordance with law and after complying with all the statutory formalities.

The respondent distribution company is directed to serve a quotation on the petitioner within a period of two weeks from date.

The distribution company is directed to act expeditiously and comply with the aforesaid directions within a period of six weeks from date in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid directions, WPA 20339 of 2019 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
