1. This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the defendants praying for a direction upon the learned Additional District Judge, 4th Court at Barasat, District- North 24-Parganas to dispose of OS Case No. 6 of 2017 expeditiously.

2. Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that the evidence of the parties is almost complete and the next date in the suit has been fixed on 17th January, 2026.

3. In view of the order sought and proposed to be passed, there is no necessity to issue notice upon the opposite parties. However, the learned advocate for the petitioners shall be obliged to forward a copy of this application along with this order upon the opposite parties or upon the learned advocates representing them before the learned trial Court.

4. From the order sheet appended to this application, this Court finds that the suit is at the stage of evidence and in view of the submissions made by the learned

advocate for the petitioners, C. O. No.3470 of 2025 stands disposed of by requesting the Additional District Judge, 4th Court at Barasat, District- North 24Parganas to dispose of OS Case No. 6 of 2017, if the same is otherwise ready and make an endeavour to dispose of the suit as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties keeping in mind that the said suit is pending from the year 2016.

5. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
