Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. Petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities.

State has submitted a report which reflects that on the basis of information furnished by the petitioner, Gangarampur P.S. Case No. 631 of 2025 dated 19.09.2025 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of law. In view of the steps taken by the police authorities, I direct the police authorities to take the investigation of the case so registered to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. Police authorities would also ensure that no breach of the peace and/or tranquility takes place at the locale.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 22488 of 2025 is disposed of.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
