Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the present writ petition, police authorities have registered a case. State has submitted a report which reflects that Kotwali Police Station Case No.1059 of 2025 dated 20.09.2025 has been registered for investigation.

In view of the case having been registered, I direct the investigating officer to effectively investigate the case and take the investigation to its logical conclusion.

In view of the steps taken, further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

Accordingly, WPA 22546 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
