In the absence of any representation from the State, it is not possible for the Court to decide the issue conclusively.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the District Inspector of Schools (SE), South 24 Parganas to consider the petitioner's prayer for grant of pension according to the last pay drawn by him at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

If any amount is found due and payable to the petitioner, then revised PPO shall be issued without any delay.

If the prayer of the petitioner is rejected, the ground(s) for rejection shall be communicated to him.

Learned counsel for the petitioner shall forward a copy of the representation seeking consideration along with all supporting documents to the said respondent at the time of communicating this order.

All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
