Learned advocate representing the respondent Customs authority submits that the grievance of the petitioners with regard to its claim of refund has already been redressed and the learned advocate representing the petitioners does not dispute such submission of the learned advocate for the respondents, however, he submits that petitioners are entitled for statutory interest also.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case as recorded herein above this writ petition is disposed of in view of the fact that the grievance of

the petitioners with regard to its claim of refund has already been redressed.

Petitioners may seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law for its claim of interest before the authority concerned.

Accordingly this writ petition being WPA 22108 of 2023 is disposed of.
