Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of the witnesses disclose torture by the petitioners on the deceased housewife who ordinarily reside at her matrimonial home.

In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Ajay Kumar Gupta, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
