Petitioners have filed this writ petition being aggrieved by inaction on the part of the respondent Income Tax Officer, Circle - 7(1), Kolkata/respondent No.

in considering and disposing of the representations of the petitioners dated 23rd January, 2023 and 31st January, 2023 making request for modification and revision of demand in question and details of the grievance would appear from the said representations.

Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and submission of the parties this writ petition being WPA 22116 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent No. 4 to consider and dispose of the aforesaid representations dated 23rd January, 2023 and 31st January, in

accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioners or its authorized representatives within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order. Till the disposal of the aforesaid representations no coercive action in any manner shall be taken against the petitioners and any further action by the respondent will depend upon the final decision on the aforesaid representations to be taken.

With this observation and direction this writ petition stands disposed of.
