The petitioner was an Assistant Teacher at Dasang Primary School under Panskura North-I circle of DPSC, Purba Medinipur.

On attaining the age of superannuation, he has retired from the said service on June 30, 2024. The petitioner is complaining that his retiral benefits have not yet been disbursed. A report was called for from the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, Government of West Bengal, the added respondent no.8 herein.

Learned advocate for the State files such report. It appears from the said report that the said respondent is yet to receive the complete pension file from the end of the District Inspector of Schools (PE), Purba Medinipur, the respondent no.4 herein.

The respondent no.4 therefore is directed to complete the pension file of the petitioner within four weeks from the date of communication of this order and to send the same to the respondent no.8 enabling him to take forward steps for disbursement of the retiral dues of the petitioner.

It is expected that the respondent no.8 shall take necessary step for issuance of pension payment order in favour of the petitioner expeditiously, in the event all the papers are found in order.

WPA 22723 of 2024 is thus disposed of without any order as to costs.

No affidavit since has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
