AGP Mr. Sanjib Das ...for the State By presenting this writ petition, inter alia, petitioner has prayed for changing his mobile number and E-mail Id which were disclosed in his online application for participation in 1st State Level Selection Test, 2016 (Upper Primary) since E-mail Id and mobile number of the petitioner have been hacked, after disclosing the same in the online application made before the West Bengal Central School Service Commission. Such submission made on behalf of the petitioner finds corroboration from the Order dated 22nd February, 2023 passed by a Co-ordinate Bench on a writ petition being WPA No.3199 of 2023. In the said order dated 22nd February, 2023 leave was granted to the petitioner to approach the West Bengal Central School Service Commission with any prayer for change of E-mail Id and mobile number.

Today learned advocate representing the Commission on instruction submits that mobile number and E-mail Id of the petitioner, if necessary, can be changed.

In view of the respective submissions made on behalf of the parties, Writ Petition stands disposed of directing the Chairman, West Bengal Central School Service Commission being respondent no.3 to change the mobile number and E-mail Id of the petitioner as disclosed in the online application made by the petitioner while offering her candidature in the 1st SLST, 2016 (Upper Primary) irrespective of the fact whether the petitioner's name features in the merit list or not. Petitioner shall supply different mobile number and E-mail Id to the respondent no.3 by 7 days from date and on receipt of those particulars changes are to be made by fortnight thereafter.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
