Galib Ms. Subhra Nag ... for the State Mr. Saikat Banerjee Mr. Ratul Biswas Mr. Kaushik Chowdhury ... for the WBBPE The petitioner submits that she is an OBC-A category candidate but the West Bengal Board of Primary Education has considered her as an OBC-B category candidate which is wholly incorrect and that is why she will surely suffer at the time when the result will be published and when the panel will be prepared. Therefore, I direct the Board to take a decision in this matter immediately by 14th December, 2022 and rectify the mistake. An opportunity of hearing is to be given to the petitioner by the Secretary of the Board while taking the decision and such decision is to be communicated to the petitioner within a period of seven days from the date of taking such decision after hearing.

I am told that the petitioner has already applied in terms of notification dated 21st October, 2022 and because of such mistake, if it is correct, the petitioner's candidature should not be jeopardised in any manner whatsoever.

The petitioner is directed to provide the Board her email id so that the Board can make communication in the said address also.

With the above observation and direction this writ application is disposed of.
