The writ petitioner participated in the process of recruit process to the post of constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces for the year 2022. He cleared all stages of recruitment except the medical examination. In the course of medical examination he weighed 53.45 kg which is underweight.

The review medical board confirmed that the petitioner is under weight and also discovered surgical scar of injury. He was declared unfit. 3.

Counsel for the petitioner would argue that the petitioner is now 56 kgs. and produces the report of the Bankura Sammilani Medical College and Hospital.

It is now well settled that the medical and physical condition of the candidate at the time of

recruitment examination is what is relevant and not any subsequent change in physical condition.

In that view of the matter, no relief can be granted to the petitioner.

The writ petition is dismissed.

7.

There will be no order as to costs.
