By virtue of the order impugned the learned trial judge mechanically extended the time for filing of the written statement beyond the statutory time limit.
Pursuant to an order dated 11.10.2023, a copy of this application has been served and affidavit-of-service has been filed. None appears to oppose this application today. However, taking into consideration the fact that November 30, 2023 has been fixed for filing of the written statement by the defendants, it is observed that the learned court below shall not mechanically extend the time to file written statement. If no written statement is filed on the date fixed, the learned court below shall proceed in accordance with law.
With the above observations, the instant civil revisional application stands disposed of.
There will be no order as to costs.
