Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. As none appeared on behalf of the State earlier Mr. Suman Sengupta, learned advocate along with Mr. Amrit Lal Chatterjee, learned advocate was directed to represent the State. Their appointment may be regularized by the concerned authorities.
Petitioner complains that petitioner has been subjected to assault for which earlier case was registered on 09.09.2025 being Bantra P.S. Case No. 117 of 2025. Subsequently the petitioner complains that again on 10.09.2025, petitioner was subjected to assault.
Police authorities have submitted a report which reflects that learned CJM, Howrah has been pleased to grant bail to the FIR named accused persons.
Having considered that the subsequent information is not reflected in the police report, petitioner be well advised to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate being the learned CJM, Howrah with necessary prayers. Learned CJM, Howrah will assess and ascertain regarding the genuinity of the allegations and thereafter if required, pass necessary directions upon the police authorities in consonance with the provisions of law.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 22436 of 2025 is disposed of. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. There will be no order as to costs.
All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
