The arresting officer is present before this Court. The explanation given by the arresting officer appears to be satisfactory.

The personal appearance of the arresting officer is dispensed with.

The petitioner submits that he was not aware of the fact that the private respondent was arrested, produced before the Executive Magistrate and granted bail. Since nothing further remains to be adjudicated in the writ petition, the same is disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
