1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking a THURSDAY Court : CB-07 Item : DL-01 Bench : SINGLE Matter : WPA Status : DO ID : 266057 AR : NANDY direction upon Respondent No. 2 to dispose of all the appeals submitted by the petitioner before him.

2. During the course of hearing, Mr. Saha, learned Advocate representing the State Information Commission, produced an order dated 30.11.2023 along with a document containing particulars of certain appeals, which are taken on record. It appears from the said order that all pending appeals filed by the petitioner, namely Wajed Ali Sardar, as of 30.11.2023, have been disposed of by the said order.

3. Since a person holding a respectable position in the State has, by producing an order and supporting documents, made a statement and/or declaration before this Court that all appeals preferred by the petitioner as on that date have been disposed of, this Court finds no reason to decline to accept such statement and/or declaration.

4. However, it is ordered that if any appeal preferred prior to 30.11.2023 still remains pending before Respondent No. 2, the same shall be disposed of as

P a g e | 2 expeditiously as possible, without any unnecessary delay.

5. With these observations and order, WPA 22532 of 2022 is disposed of.
