3. The petitioner's application praying for appointment as temporary Muslim Marriage Registrar is pending consideration for a considerable period of time.

4. As it appears that, the petitioner's prayer is pending for a considerable period of time, the instant writ petition is disposed of directing the Secretary, Law Department to consider the petitioner's prayer, in accordance with law at the earliest, but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

5. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioner immediately thereafter.

6. Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the application seeking appointment along with all supporting documents in support of her claim to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of this Court.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of.

8. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all the requisite formalities.
