Patodia Ms. Megha Agarwal ...for the respondent nos. 1 to 3 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner ssi Ct. 17 submits as follows. By an order dated 19.08.2024 passed in WPA 19532 of 2024, this Court had requested the Vice Chancellor of the respondent University to consider a comprehensive representation of the petitioner regarding relaxation of attendance percentage in accordance with law and within a week from such date. Pursuant to this, the petitioner had made the representation on 24.08.2024. Yet, till date the respondent Vice Chancellor has not considered the representation.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent University denies the allegations and submits as follows. Immediately after passing of the order, the Vice Chancellor constituted a committee to look into the question of relaxation of percentage of attendance on 21.08.2024. The Committee was asked to submit a report by 29.08.2024. It

submitted such report and the Vice Chancellor has also taken a decision. After the report was submitted, few holidays intervened.

The decision would finally be communicated to the petitioner on 12.09.2024. As it has been submitted on behalf of the University that the Vice Chancellor has already taken a decision on the issue and is about to communicate the same to the petitioner by 12.09.2024, therefore, no further order need be passed in this regard.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
