I am of the view that sufficient notice was given to the petitioner that the matter would be taken up today. It appears that the petitioner is not interested in proceeding with this matter. Hence, W.P.A. 20438 of 2007 is dismissed for default, without any order as to costs. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

Consequently CAN 1 of 2008 is dismissed.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance of the requisite formalities.
