Ct.No.28 as (Rejected) C.R.M. (DB) 3417 of 2022 In Re:- An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Gopiballavpur P.S. Case No.66 of 2022 dated 26.06.2022 under Sections 498A/304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Petitioners are in custody for 139 days. It is submitted they have been falsely implicated in the instant case. Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the parents of the deceased. They state a day before the incident, the deceased informed them that she had been physically assaulted by the petitioners. Thereafter she committed suicide.

In view of the aforesaid materials on record, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected.
