Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that he has been manhandled, harassed by the private respondents.

To that effect, information was furnished to the Officer-in-Charge, Indus Police Station, Bankura.

Petitioner and the private respondents are contesting before the civil court also.

I have considered the information which was furnished to the Officer-in-Charge. However, the same lacks the materials for the police authorities to act since the medical report which has been enclosed in the writ petition was not a part and parcel of the accusations when the information was furnished.

In case the petitioner submits a fresh representation along with an appropriate

documents, police authorities would assess and ascertain whether any cognizable or non-cognizable offence is made out and thereafter take steps in accordance with law.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Mr.

Arkadipta Sengupta, learned advocate is directed to represent the State. A copy of the writ petition be handed over to the learned advocate. His appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities. With the aforesaid observations WPA 22625 of 2025 is disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
