1. Learned advocate representing CESC Limited has filed before this Court a communication dated 13th November, 2024 made by the Assistant Manager (Commercial), Howrah Regional Office addressed to the petitioner stating that the bill for June, 2024 has been reviewed and an amount of Rs. 7,97,322.25/- along with tariff and government duty adjustments has been abated from the aforesaid bill. The revised bill of September, 2024 which includes the arrear since June, 2024 has been forwarded to the petitioner with a request to arrange for its settlement within the extended due date.

2. In view of the aforesaid communication, the grievance of the petitioner appears to have been redressed.

3. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of.

4. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
