Heard the learned advocates for the respective parties.

The writ petitioner seeks issuance of a Writ of Mandamus commanding the respondents to allow addition of two extra trips on the Ghatal to Paskura route to the time table approved for the petitioner's bus which the petitioner operates on the said route. The petitioner submits that he had submitted a representation before the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Paschim Medinipur in such regard but such representation has not been considered and disposed of by the said authority as yet. The said representation forms

Annexure -'P-2' to the writ petition at pages 16 and 17 thereof.

In view of the nature of grievance that has been raised by the writ petitioner in the present writ petition, justice would be subserved if the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no.3 i.e. the Secretary, Regional Transport Authority, Paschim Medinipur to consider the writ petitioner's representation at pages 16 and 17 (Annexure 'P-2') of the writ petition and dispose of the same strictly in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the writ petitioner and to all the other stake holders within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

It is needless to mention that the respondent no.3 shall dispose of the said representation within the aforesaid period by a reasoned order and shall communicate the reasoned order to the writ petitioner within a period of one week from the date of passing of such order.

WPA 22915 of 2024 stands disposed of with the aforesaid observation.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties after completion of all necessary formalities.
