The prayer of the petitioner for grant of widow daughter family pension forwarded by the school authority to the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Tamluk is pending consideration for a considerable period of time.

Without entering into the merit of the prayer of the petitioner, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Inspector of Schools (S.E.), Tamluk to consider and dispose of the petitioner's prayer for grant of pension meant for widow daughter of a deceased school teacher strictly in accordance with law, at the earliest but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

If the petitioner's prayer is allowed, then necessary consequential steps for disbursement of pension shall be taken immediately thereafter. 5.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
