Mr. Jayanta Samanta, learned advocate who usually appears for the State is requested to represent the State in this matter. Let the appointment of Mr. Samanta be regularised by the concerned authority. 4.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the writ petition alongwith all the annexures to Mr. Samanta, learned advocate representing the State.

By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks for sanction of family pension and release of arrear pension together with interest.

The petitioner contends that her father namely late Jogendra Nath Giri was an Assistant Teacher of Locchimpur Junior Basic Primary School, P.O. Bodhra

under Egra Circle, District Purba Medinipur. The father of the petitioner retired on 11th November, 1977 and died on 13th December, 1992. The husband of the petitioner expired on 8th November, 2006. The petitioner being the widowed daughter, applied for grant of family pension before respondent no. 4, The District Inspector of School, (P.E.), Purba Medinipur on 27th February, 2025. However, no steps have been taken as yet. Hence this writ petition.

Mr. Dilip Kumar Sadhu, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner seeks for appropriate direction upon respondent no. 4, The District Inspector of School, (P.E.), Purba Medinipur to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27th February, 2025. 8.

Mr. Jayanta Samanta, learned advocate representing the State leaves the matter to the discretion of the Court.

in view of the submissions advanced by the learned advocates for the respective parties, respondent no. 4, District Inspector of School, (P.E.), Purba Medinipur is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27th February, 2025 and dispose of the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 6 weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to communicate this order to respondent no.4, District Inspector of School, (P.E.), Purba Medinipur. 11.

With the above observations, WPA 22467 of 2025 stands disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to be not admitted.

Consequently, connected applications, if any, also stand disposed of.

Interim orders, if any, stand vacated.

There will be no order as to costs.
