The petitioner complains of inaction on the part of the English Bazar Police Station in respect of FIR being English Bazar PS Case No.1044/2021 dated 24th August, 2021. The FIR was registered under orders of the concerned magistrate under section 156(3) of the CrPC. 2.

Learned counsel for the State has produced a report in the form of instructions issued by the Inspectorin-Charge, English Bazar Police Station addressed to the learned Government Pleader and the same is taken on record.

It appears that the investigation has been completed and FRT No.1311/21 dated 31st December, 2021 has been filed with a prayer for discharge of the private respondents for want of evidence.

This Court, therefore, directs the petitioner to take steps under section 173(8) of the CrPC before the magistrate.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
