The petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of G.R. case no. 1585/2012 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Islampur, Uttar Dinajpur. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the next date fixed before the learned Magistrate on 31st July, 2025. The case record is yet to be committed to the learned Sessions Court.

Considering the age of the case, learned Magistrate is directed to exhaust all procedures available in law to secure the attendance of the accused persons in the matter and take necessary steps for commitment of the case record before the learned Sessions Judge as expeditiously as possible, preferably within three months from the next date fixed before him.

CRR 4280 of 2024 is disposed of.
