1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioners seek consideration of the representation dated 12th July, 2023 filed before the District Magistrate, Hooghly.

3. Without going into the merits of the same, as it appears that the representation is pending consideration for a consideration period of time, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Magistrate, Hooghly to consider the said representation, in accordance with law at the earliest, but positively within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

4. A reasonable opportunity of hearing shall be given to all the necessary parties and a reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the parties.

5. Learned advocate for the petitioners is directed to forward a copy of the representation dated 12th July, 2023 along with all supporting documents to the aforesaid respondent, at the time of communicating the order of this Court.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all the requisite formalities.
