By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent nos.2 to 4, to consider the representation of the petitioner for transfer on medical and distance grounds from her present place of posting i.e., 13, Gariamari Pry./Jr. Basic/GSFP School under Domkal South Circle, District Murshidabad to any school nearby

to her residence under Nadia District Primary School Council.

The petitioner contends that she is an Assistant Teacher at 13, Gariamari Pry./Jr. Basic/GSFP School under Domkal South Circle, District Murshidabad. The petitioner joined the school on 13th February, 2017. The petitioner is suffering from various gynaecological problems.

The petitioner has to travel 240 kilometres everyday to attend her work place. The petitioner made a representation before the respondent authorities dated 12th June, 2025 which was sent on 20th August, 2025 seeking transfer. However, the same is pending with the authority. Hence, this writ petition.

Mr. Ratul Biswas, learned advocate, for the West Bengal Board of Primary Education submits that the matter be relegated to the appropriate authority to take a decision on the matter of transfer of the petitioner in accordance with law. 5.

In view of the above, the respondent no.4, the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education, is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 12th June, 2025 which was sent on 20th August, 2025, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The petitioner is directed to communicate this order to the respondent no.4, the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education.

With the above direction, writ petition, being WPA 22810 of 2025, stands disposed of.

Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition is deemed to be not admitted.

Connected application, if any, stands disposed of.

10. All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

11. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of necessary formalities.
