Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. Petitioner expresses her insecurity as during the pendency of Topsia P.S. Case No. 41 dated 26.03.2025, on or about 04.09.2025, she was assaulted with fists and blows by certain individuals in front of 42, Tiljala Road. To that effect, Topsia P.S. Case No. 148 dated 16.09.2025 has been registered for investigation.

Since the police case has already been registered, the primary grievance of the petitioner thereby facing inconveniences cannot be ruled out. In view of the aforesaid, if the petitioner complains to the police authorities about her insecurity, police authorities would provide necessary protection and assistance at least till the stage of her evidence is over.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 22458 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
