The petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Narkeldanga Police Station in respect of a complaint of assault and threat by the private respondent no. 6.

The Narkeldanga Police Station is represented. 3.

The police submits that on the petitioner's complaint, an FIR being Narkeldanga P.S.

Case No. 370 dated 15.09.2022 has been filed and investigation is nearly complete.

In the aforesaid circumstances, let the investigation into the said FIR be completed within a period of 15 days from date and a final report be filed before the Jurisdictional Magistrate.

The Narkeldanga Police Station shall, however, ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in area.

With the aforesaid observation, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

7.

There shall be no order as to costs.

8.

The report of the Narkeldanga Police Station dated 27.04.2023 is kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
