This Court is distressed to note the slow pace of investigation in the matter. The last order in the matter was passed on January 25, 2023. The investigation was expected to have been completed much earlier.

The Investigating Officer seeks 3 weeks time.

On the assurance of Mr. Debasish Ghosh, learned counsel appearing for the State, that investigation shall be completed within 3 weeks and all attempts shall be made to trace out the money/property trial in question, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

The time frame of weeks stipulated hereinabove, is mandatory and peremptory.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
