The writ petitioners complain of non-compliance DL-1 23.06.2023 Court No.5 (AD) of the judgment and order dated November 24, 2017. By such judgment and order, several writ petitions were disposed of by setting aside an order dated August 30, 2017 which was impugned in the writ petitions. The matter was remanded to the Collector for a decision afresh. The Collector was directed to act in terms of the order passed by the learned Arbitrator. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the alleged contemnors are writing letters to the authorities which tantamount to interference in the course of justice. The petitioners approached the learned Advocate General for permission to lodge

Criminal proceedings which was rejected.

Hence, the present application.

As noted above, the judgment and order dated November 24, 2017 set aside an order dated August 30, 2017 which was impugned in the writ petitions and required the Collector to take a decision afresh. The facts and circumstances alleged, in my opinion, do not warrant invocation of Article 215 of the Constitution of India or the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.

Contents of the letters apparently are expression of views of a particular person in respect of a particular subject.

In such circumstances, I am not minded to entertain the present contempt petition.

CPAN 975 of 2018 is disposed of accordingly.

On the prayer made on behalf of the petitioners, CPAN 976 of 2018 is dismissed as withdrawn.
