The petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Bhimpur Police Station, Krishnanagar PD, Nadia to investigate into the death of his daughter.

The Bhimpur Police have registered an FIR being Bhimpur Police Station Case No. 256 of dated 30.06.2022 under Sections 498(A)/302/34 of the IPC. Investigation has revealed that the petitioner's daughter died while she was unauthorizedly tapping electricity by 'hooking''. The victim died by electrocution.

The police have filed a final report being Final Report No. 299 of 2022 dated 20.09.2022. In addition to that, police have also lodged prosecution against the petitioner under

Sections 182 and 211 of the IPC for making a false complaint.

This Court, therefore, sees no inaction on the part of the Bhimpur Police Station, Krishnanagar PD, Nadia.

With the aforesaid observation, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

The report of the Bhimpur Police Station, Krishnanagar PD, Nadia dated 09.11.2022 is kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
