Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that in spite of informing the police authorities on or about 05.08.2024 no steps were taken by the police authorities so far as the protection of life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members are concerned.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that both the petitioner and the private respondents happen to be members of Namkhana Contractor Association. So far as the incident complained of, police authorities conducted enquiry and drew up proceedings under section 126 of BNSS.

Having considered that the police authorities have already kept a surveillance by maintaining peace and tranquility, I direct the police authorities to continue the strict vigil they had been maintaining and ensure that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility and/or any untoward incident resulting from the strained relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 22938 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
