1. The petitioner prays for permission to conduct the Durga Puja.

2. It has been submitted that the representation seeking permission to conduct the Durga Puja is pending before the SDPO, Tamluk.

3. Learned advocate representing the State respondents submits, upon instruction that, the documents pertaining to the land over which the Puja will be performed, the permission from the Fire Authority for conducting the Puja and permission from the Electric Supply Department, WBSEDCL will be required to be shown by the petitioner for issuance of puja permission.

4. The Superintendent of Police, Purba Medinipur is directed to consider the prayer of the petitioner for grant of puja permission in accordance with the relevant rules at the earliest but positively by 18th September, 2025.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Instruction forwarded by the I.C. Tamluk P.S. dated 17.09.2025 is kept with the records.

7. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
