Mr. Indranil Halder ..for the petitioner Ms. Sreemoyee Mitra ..for CESC Limited Learned Advocate appearing for the Calcutta Electricity Supply Corporation (CESC) Limited submits that the petitioner has been enjoying an electricity connection through a separate meter. It appears that the petitioner is a tenant in respect of the concerned shop room. However, the petitioner has not made the landlord a party to this writ petition.

In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is dismissed for non-joinder of necessary parties. This, however, shall not preclude the petitioner from filing a fresh writ petition in accordance with law.

Accordingly, WPA 22351 of 2025 is dismissed.
