An adjournment is sought on behalf of the petitioner. The matter has been pending since September, 2022 and the petitioner is not in a position to proceed with the matter.

Pursuant to an order dated June 14, 2024, the State respondents have filed a Report. Let a copy of the Report be served on the petitioner and the same be also kept with this records.

It appears from the said Report that subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, a letter-of-intent has been issued on July 5, 2023 in respect of the subject Black Stone Mining Lease.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition, being WPA No. 22625 of 2022, has become infructuous and the same stands dismissed.

However, there shall be no order as to costs.
