The petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Tollygunge Police in registering FIR in respect of a complaint dated 7th September, 2022. 2.

The petitioner claims that he was cheated into purchasing a plot of land by availing loan from the LIC Housing Finance Limited.

This Court is of the view that the petitioner has effective alternative remedy under Section 1546(3) of the CrPC and may avail the same in accordance with law. 4.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
