2. Instruction dated 24th September, 2025 forwarded by the District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Kolkata filed in Court today is taken on record.

3. The petitioner is a suspended headmaster and he is getting his subsistence allowance in terms of ROPA 2009.

4. The petitioner prays for fixation of subsistence allowance as per ROPA 2019.

5. The District Inspector of Schools (Secondary Education), Kolkata is directed to take steps for calculating the subsistence allowance of the petitioner at the proper scale taking into consideration his period of suspension.

6. A decision shall be taken in the matter at the earliest but positively within a period eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

7. The writ petition stands disposed of.
