The petitioner complains of alleged inaction on the part of the Shyampukur Police in dealing with her complaint dated 16th September, 2022.

The dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents is in relation to occupation of two rooms of a premises. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the private respondents do not allow her to enter into the premises from time to time.

Admittedly, there is civil suit being TS No.1650 of 1990 pending by and between the parties before the learned 10th Bench of the City Civil Court at Calcutta. 4.

This Court is of the view that the dispute between the parties is purely civil in nature. Civil remedies may be sought by the parties may either in the pending civil proceedings or any other proceedings in accordance with law.

Shyampukur Police shall, however, ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area. 6.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
