Mr. S. S. Imam Mr. R. Jana ....for the State in CRM(A) 4813 of 2022 Petitioners submit First Information Report (FIR) was registered against 114 persons. They have been falsely implicated. They pray for anticipatory bail. Learned lawyer opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. he submits a large number of persons including the petitioners threw bombs. They mercilessly assaulted the victims resulting in grievous injuries. Gold and other valuables were stolen from their houses.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses disclose a sinister picture. A large number of persons came to the village. They threw bombs and looted the villagers. Number of victims were injured. Medical papers show grievous and life threatening injuries on the victim. Petitioners are named in the FIR as well as in the statements of the witnesses. In view of the gravity of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioners in the crime, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the applications being CRM (A) 4769 of 2022, CRM (A) 4777 of 2022, CRM (A) 4778 of 2022, CRM (A) 4810 of 2022, CRM (A) 4812 of 2022 and CRM (A) 4813 of 2022 are dismissed.
