1. Heard the learned advocate for the writ petitioners and the learned advocate for the State.

2. The learned advocate for the writ petitioners submits that this court should direct the West Bengal Administrative Tribunal (in short 'Tribunal') to constitute a division bench for expeditious hearing of the matter.

3. We find from the orders annexed to the writ petition that an interim order protecting the petitioners' existence in the establishment as Data Entry Operators was in operation till 30th June, 2021. The interim order was operating in terms of an order dated 24.03.2021 passed in

the pending Original Application before the Tribunal. The very next order annexed to the writ petition reveals that the interim order thereafter perhaps was not extended.

4. Having regard to the conduct of the writ petitioners, wherein they have not taken any steps for extension of the interim order, we do not find that there is any occasion for this court to direct the Tribunal for expeditious consideration of the matter. As no case of urgency is made out, we are of the view that it is for the Tribunal to organize its business as per priority of the matters according to urgency, pending before the Tribunal.

5. In view of the above noted facts, there is no scope for this court to pass any such order for fixing a time to constitute a bench, or for hearing of the pending O.A. in the present proceedings.

6. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter pending before the Tribunal.
