Petitioner complains that the police authorities have acted in excess of their powers. On the other hand police authorities have submitted a list of cases of Rampurhat Police Station, Keshiary Police Station, Garhbeta Police Station and Sonamukhi Police Station against one Amir Ali Khan @ Raj Kumar Singh being the son of the petitioner. Petitioner now complains that police authorities have sought for bribe from the petitioner and he himself has been detained. There are C.C.T.V. footage according to the petitioner in respect of the accusations made.

Having considered the allegations so made by the petitioner, the Superintendent of Police,

Paschim Medinipur will conduct an enquiry, give an appropriate opportunity of hearing and inform the outcome of such enquiry to the petitioner within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 22632 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. Copy of the report be handed over the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
