1. The petitioners complain of alleged inaction on the part of the Haripal Police Station, Hooghly in respect of a complaint against the private respondents of threaten and intimidate them.

2. Counsel for the police submits that there are civil disputes with regard to the property of the petitioners and the private respondents. He further submits that FIRs have been registered at the instance of the private respondents against the petitioners and investigation has been completed and charge-sheet has been filed.

3. Likewise, on the complaint of the petitioners, FIR has been registered being Haripal Police Station Case No. 74 of 2023 dated 20th February, 2023 and investigation has been completed and charge-sheet being C.S. No. 41 of 2023 dated 28th February, 2023 has been filed.

4. This Court, therefore, finds no inaction on the part of the police. Haripal Police Station shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

5. The report of the Officer-in-charge, Haripal Police Station dated 2nd May, 2023 filed in Court today be taken on record.

6. With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

7. There will be no order as to costs.

8. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
