The petitioner prays for implementation of the order dated April 29, 2022 passed by the Board of Councillors, Burdwan Municipality for demolition of the unauthorized construction.

The said order is yet to be implemented.

The learned advocate representing the respondent nos. 5, 7 & 8 submits, upon instruction, that his clients were unaware of the order of demolition.

Be that as it may, as it appears that the said order was passed upon hearing both the parties, accordingly, it is incumbent upon the Municipality to take steps for implementation of the same.

The Burdwan Municipality is accordingly directed to take steps for execution of the order of demolition in accordance with law, at the earliest, but positively within

a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

Affidavits-of-service filed in Court today are taken on record.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
